I think it is very clever because they use various celebrities such as the Joanas Brothers to participate in the commercials. The commercials are also very clever and entertaining. If they were to be lecturing teenagers about the dangers of texting and driving then they would not be paid attention to and would not be very effective. However, the campaign is using sarcasm and humor to catch the attention of their target audience.
